Edit
picture or pictures working from the Common Tasks Panel,
or using the menu across top of screen.
Then
use File to SAVE AS with a descriptive name to the storage device
of your choice. You can also use Save Copy As, and Save Special, and
then Save as web-ready picture for images you want to email later,
The
default setting for Save and Save As will save your picture BACK
to your camera card.
On
your home computer, save to either the My Pictures folder under
My Documents, or to a folder created for that purpose. That is the best
option, creating a PHOTOS folder, and then creating sub-folders for
different kinds of pictures, such as Family Pictures, Nature Pictures,
Baby Pictures, etc. For more info see the Files
and Folders sheet.
Library
computers will not allow you to save to the hard drive.
To
save to a CD (CD-RW only at this point) on the library computer,
insert a CD-RW disc in the drive. The
computer will take control of the
CD after a moment. If asked if you want to format the disc, answer yes.
Be warned that a CD-RW takes 20 minutes to format!
After
that you can save files directly to the CD from the image editing
program—the CD will be Drive E.
